Song License & Terms

1. Who we are

Gift A Song Today ("we," "us") makes personalized songs from the stories customers share with us. Questions about these terms go to info@giftasongtoday.com.

2. How your song is made

Your song is created with artificial intelligence tools. Your answers are used to write the lyrics and choose the musical style, and an AI music model performs the song. Because of this:

• The melody, voice, and arrangement are generated automatically and may sound similar to other AI-made music.
• Names and words may occasionally be sung or pronounced differently than expected.
• Under current U.S. law, songs made mainly by AI generally can't be registered for copyright. This license is a contract between you and us that sets out how you may use the song.

3. Your personal-use license

When you pay for a song, we grant you a permanent, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may:

• Download it, keep it, and play it as often as you like.
• Give it as a gift and share it with family and friends.
• Post it on personal social media, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, as long as you don't earn money from it.
• Play it at private events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, memorials, and family gatherings.

4. What's not allowed

• Selling, licensing, or reselling the song.
• Uploading it to Spotify, Apple Music, or other streaming or download stores, or distributing it for royalties.
• Using it in paid advertising or in products sold to others.
• Claiming copyright in the song, or registering it with YouTube Content ID or similar systems.

If you'd like to use a song commercially, email us and we'll talk about a separate license.

5. Our promise about your song and story

• We use your answers only to create and deliver your song and to handle your order.
• We won't sell your personalized song, or reuse your story to make songs for anyone else.
• We won't share your personal details, except with the services we use to take payment and deliver your order.

6. What you can ask for

Please only share details you have the right to share, and don't ask for:

• Lyrics from existing songs, or songs that imitate a specific real artist's voice.
• Hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or harassing content.
• False or damaging statements about real people.

We may refuse or refund any order that breaks these rules.

7. Payment, delivery, and our guarantee

• Payment is taken at checkout through Square. We never see or store your card number.
• Standard songs are delivered by email with a private download link. Rush orders are delivered within 1 hour.
• If a rush order arrives late, we automatically refund the $4.99 rush fee, and you keep the song.

Love it, or your money back

If you're not happy with your song, reply to your delivery email within 30 days of delivery and tell us what's wrong.

• Free remake first. We'll make one new version of your song at no charge, using your notes.
• Still not right? Full refund. If you don't love the remake, ask for a refund within the same 30 days and we'll refund the full amount you paid. No questions asked.
• You can also skip the remake and ask for a refund right away.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method through Square and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
• When an order is refunded, the song license for that order ends, so please stop using and sharing that song.
• The guarantee covers one refund per customer. We may decline repeated refund requests from the same person or email address.

8. No warranty

Songs are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version in place when you placed your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
